    Hello, I am coming to your for a trouble that seems to come from your plugin.
    I sell magazine pdf through my site using your plugin. The files are on Dropbox and I get the links in your plugin but each time someone purchase a pdf they have an error message : corrupted file or non existant

    So i have to send the link through email that works fine but get me loose time and less customers for a simple file that doesn’t bring much money.

    Tell me how I can change this issue to make it work properly

    Hi @sitescreeditor,

    Can you download the PDF file directly using the dropbox link which has been added to the product edit screen in WooCommerce? If you can download the file via this link that will let you know if the file and link is okay.

    The next step if that’s the case would be to purchase a test product on your site and they compare the download link from the email to that of the product edit screen and see if you can spot any differences between the URLs.

    Hello,

    Thank you for answering me..

    I don’t really understand your question here, I have my pdf files in my drop box and get the links in my woo-commerce product with (as said) the two boxed ticked as it is not physical.

    People have a message saying the pdf is corrupted or is not a good file. But I have tried to upload the pdf right into the wordpress media and it works. I just don’t understand why an outside link can’t be downloaded.

    no problem with drop box as I have to send it to people by mail which is not interesting for me .

    Woo-commerce is crap, thx I don’t pay it!

    I can’t use another url outside of wordpress ! It only accepts a certain size reason why I use drop box but since it won’t accept my files I have to send a mail each time people pay me!!!

    This is ridiculous ,

    Hi there,

    You can certainly use a Dropbox link for your digital/downloadable WooCommerce product. If your customers are having troubles downloading the file it could be that your Dropbox file doesn’t have the correct permissions or a corrupt file which Dropbox can help you with.     Hello

    It appears that it is working only when in the settings / Products / Downloadable products
    You choose “redirect only”

    which un-ticks the “virtual” box as it is suggested to tick on the explanation support page for non physical item…

    so this is not great as people see the link to my drop box
