I’ve clicked download and all I ended up getting was a folder that said WordPress. Inside of it were .php files but nothing that was a program. Am I doing something wrong? I have a mac.

Where did you download it from? Do you want to install it on a live site or locally?

No but were you aware that you need a web server to run WordPress?

I am having a similar problem. I have a mac, and when i click on the php link to install it just opens a window with lots of code on it. isnt it supposed to link to an installation walk-thru? this is not taking 5 minutes!
