    See Table VI-C1 .. VI-C1.4, to turn the photo name into a download link or button.

    I have already Table VI-C1.4 checked but I can’t make it work…

    OK I change IV-C3 to masonry and now I got the download button.
    1/ When I click to the button, it opens photo in a blank page on Chrome and Safari, on Firefox it opens a new page where I need to right click on the photo to save as the file. Is there a way to direct download jpg file ?
    2/ Is there a way to get the button bigger?
    3/ Is there a way to remove image filename in the button?

    ??? The masonry style thumbnails do not show the name, so they do not show the download button…

    The browser displays anything of which it knows how to do it, looking at the file-extension. A .html file renders as a page, a .jpg file renders as an image, in modern browsers, a .mp4 file renders as a video. You should be glad it does render .jpg files as images. File-extensions that are unknown to the browser invoke the download dialogbox. You can select the creation of .zip files in Table VI-C1; this will invoke the download dialog. It is – to my knowledge – not possible to get the download dialog being invoked for a .jpg file without showing the downloaded image first.

    2/ Is there a way to get the button bigger?

    You can add custom css in Table IV-A15 for this purpose. Example:

    .wppa-download-button {
    height:32px;
    font-size:24px;
    }

    3/ Is there a way to remove image filename in the button?

    It is not the filename, but the photo name. See the Album admin -> Edit album -> Manage photo information admin screen.
    Changing the custom css into:

    .wppa-download-button {
    height:32px;
    font-size:24px;
    max-width:172px !important;
    }

    will hide the : Photoname
    (The numbers may differ depending on your theme and other css settings.)

    You can add to the photo description:
    <a href="w#hrurl">Download</a>
    It will not work on all browsers and it is a text link, but if it works, it opens the download dialog box immediately.

    Yes I confirm only the masonry style show “download button”. The mcr style does not.

    Regarding browsers, it opens a blank page for about 3sec to finally show image.
