    Good morning team

    I hava a problem with downloading generated pdf.
    Currently on WooCommerce PDF Invoice plugin -> General -> General settings -> How do you want to view the PDF? i have “Download the PDF”.

    Unfortunately when i selected any order invoice from Woocommerce -> Orders page , the invoice is opening in new browser tab.

    Could you please tell me what is wrong with this issuee ?

    Hi @baxzibi,

    That’s weird. Are you sure you saved your settings after selecting the Download the PDF option? If not, go to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > General > How do you want to view the PDF?, select Download the PDF, and click on the <s trong>Save changes button, that you’ll find at the end of the page. Then, try to open an invoice to see if it opens in the browser, or starts downloading.

    Yes, sounds weird, but i did this 1000 times. I have this issue since one year.
    No is the thime to try to fix it. I removed plugin and installed againe…no success 🙁
    Saved setups 1000 times.. No success 🙁

    I realy do not know what else I can do for this issue ?

    Which browser do you use? Do you have this issue with other browsers too?

    Yes, i tested in Chrome , Eage and also ols IE 11.

    Following up on this topic, it turned out that the PDF was not downloading because the HTML output option was checked:

    ​This setting is usually enabled temporarily to view the HTML code of documents, and then add CSS rules based on specific selectors, but you should disable it once you have finished working with your customizations. We recommend adding &output=html to the PDF documents URL to apply this on a per-order basis, to avoid a behavior like this.
