Download not working – page with link redirects to front page

This page is supposed to be password protected. Once pw is entered, you see the link to the download file. Click the link and download. Not working now. I’ve resaved permalinks, cleared and disabled cache. No luck.

/download-demo/ is the page that contains the shortcode for the file.
