Download link just redirects to homepage

    I installed download monitor, added a download through downloads > Add new download and inserted the download in a post. Whenever I click the link to download the file, the homepage loads. It doesn’t download the file, stay on the same page, give a message, or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

    Can you please share with us few details:

    1. Link to the page where you have added our shortcode or download link
    2. Screenshot of the downloads page (backend) where you have added the download file path

      3. Once I have these details I’ll be able to debug this further.

    Seems to be a similar bug to the one I’m seeing. Hasn’t magically resolved itself for me though. Was thinking of upgrading to Pro, but then encountering such initial instability has me worried, so I’ll be holding off for a bit! Hope your bug doesn’t come back.

    Hello @slinkytronic,

    Bugs do not resolve on their own. Sometimes users miss a setting or having other plugins/themes that cause conflicts.
