When the Updraft backup is stored on Dropbox, trying to click on any of the Download buttons under the Existing Backups view returns:
    Error: Download failed
The requested URL returned error: 400

I verified that the backup files exist on Dropbox in the Apps/UpdraftPlus.Com folder.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

It appears that there is currently a bug that affects downloads from Dropbox in specific circumstances. We are looking into a solution for this bug.

In the meantime, the most efficient workaround is the following:

    • Download a copy of the backup files directly from Dropbox
    • In the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab, delete the record of the backup set in question
    • Upload the downloaded backup files to UpdraftPlus through the Existing Backups tab, then click ‘Re-scan local storage’.
    • The backup set should appear in the list of backups.

You should now be able to restore the backup set.
