“Download failed. cURL error” upon trying to install plugin or theme

    Hi,

    I recently got wordpress installed on a website hosted by Epik. Unfortunately, I get the error of the title when I try to update plugins or install new themes.

    Anyone know a fix?

    Hello,

    You will need to contact your hosting provider in order to solve that, it’s a setting related to cURL which needs to be activated I think.

    If that doesn’t help try manual updating. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these)

    Note: Kindly take a proper backup if you are trying the manual approach.
