    Hello,

    since few days we have problems with the downloads. When I download a file it download it but at the end of the download i get the message “download failed”.

    The Plugin worked since two years perfect.

    If I open the link direkt, i get an error.

    We also moved our website to another host, but everything else works perfect like before.

    Please can you tell me what the problem cloud be?

    Can you please share the file size? Also, did you get this issue only after moving to new host?

    I recently installed your plugin and in starting its works but now it is not working can you check it share your email I will send my wp-admin details

    I experience the same problem right now.
    Smaller files are working, but files with i. e. 76 Mb or 97 Mb getting an Network error just before the end of the download.
    No PHP errors.

    It stopped working somewhere in December.

    PS.:
    The Download limit is set to 200 Mb on that server, so this can’t be the reason.

    Same issue here.
    I have a 56.6MB PDF that downloads all the way to 56.4MB and then shows a message saying “The operation couldn’t complete” in Safari browser. Chrome & Firefox also don’t download all the way to the end.

    If I try the original link from the WordPress Media the files/PDF’s download without issue.

    WordPress: 5.5.3
    PHP: 7.2.33
    Download Monitor: 4.4.4
    Download Monitor – Downloading Page: 4.0.0

    Same here !
    It worked perfectly since monthes, now the download starts then fails before the end.
    Any suggestions ?

    ok it’s a conflict with W3 cache for me.
    Deactivating the plugin solved the issue.

    Sorry for this late reply. Are you still experiencing issues with the download process? Just tested out on a WP 5.7 with Download Monitor 4.4.4 with different sizes, from 1 MB to 65 MB and all seems OK on my end.
