    Hi,

I have two files set up in Download Monitor.
According to downloads list page there were 79 downloads of one file and 14,306 downloads of the other. This other page didn’t even have so many views.
Looking at logs view there are 4,668 entries altogether, which is a much reasonable number.
Is there a way to see the correct downloads number in the list page? There is no way to filter logs by file, so currently I can only guess the exact number of downloads.

The file having more downloads had four versions in case this info matters.

    Hey,

Do you have the logs setup to only count unique IP addresses? There are indeed no log filters available at the moment, we’ll be working a lot on the logs in the next major release!

    Hi Barry,

Sorry for such a late response.

“Count unique IPs only” is disabled. I enabled it now.
However, if that was the problem I would consider it a strange behaviour.
Does logging track unique ips only? I would expect logs tracking everything, and the high level counter optionally be more restrictive. But currently logging seems to be more restrictive without an option to make it similar to the counter.

Another strange thing happens when I export logs to csv. Seems some registered members have downloaded files hundreds of times from different ips. This looks good in the online log viewer.

    Cheers,
    Peter

    Hey Peter,

We did notice some strange things related to download counts and the cooldown timer it should use. We tweaked this in the latest update to 1.9.4, are you still having the same issue after updating to 1.9.4?

    Kind Regards,

    Barry Kooij
