Hello! I just downloaded your latest update (1.5.3) hoping that it would fix my issue, but it hasn’t. Ever since one or two updates ago the download buttons on my episodes are broken. The URLs should be in the format:
    http://cornerstone-chapel.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Stand-Alone-BT-1_20_2013-Sabbath1.mp3

But instead they’re in this format, which throws a 404 error (for obvious reasons):
    http://cornerstone-chapel.org/wp/?podcast_episode=http://cornerstone-chapel.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Stand-Alone-BT-1_20_2013-Sabbath1.mp3

Any idea why this might be happening? You can visit http://cornerstone-chapel.org/sermons/ to see the episode list.

    Thanks!

The reason for this is that your site URL in your WordPress settings is set to http://cornerstone-chapel.org/wp/ (and not just http://cornerstone-chapel.org/). This means that when the download link is generated it uses that URL, but your actual site does not have the ‘/wp’ on the end, so the ‘podcast_episode’ parameter is not handled like it should be. I’ll make some changes in the next version of the plugin that will handle this and use the *actual* site’s URL instead of that setting, but for now you’ll have to work out the fix for it on your side.

Thanks for the response Hugh. My site URL is set to http://cornerstone-chapel.org, it’s only the wordpress URL that’s set to /wp, as it should be. That’s what’s causing the problem?

Yeah – that will be the issue. In the vast majority of cases the site URL and the WordPress URL are identical, so I didn’t really distinguish between then in the plugin. I’ll switch the plugin to use the site URL instead in the next version and that will fix the issue.

Is this still an issue or has the new version been released to correct it. We have our site under development and when we go “live” we are not planning to move the databases. Just trying to make sure this will work for our site. Thanks!
