Download all invoices at once

    Hi there,

    Is there any way I can download all invoices at once from the wordpress backend? The only way I was able to download the most recent invoices was through ftp in the folder, but that was only a very small part. Hope you guys can help.

    Second question. I recently changed my invoice number prefix and now notice all my invoices carry this new number. So old invoices that had a different prefix now have the new prefix. That’s accountancy wise not correct I believe. Is there any setting to prevent this of happening?

    Hello Jimmy,
    Our free version does not have a way to download all invoices at once, but our Professional extension does – it has a ‘Bulk export’ interface that allows you to select a date range + order status (optional) and download a zip file with all the PDF files in it.

    With regards to the invoice number prefix – that’s quite strange… Our plugin actually stores the invoice number once and if you then change the prefix that normally never affects existing invoices for the reason you mention. As such, there is no setting to prevent this from happening, because there isn’t even a way to let that happen normally (unless you delete the invoice number and create a new one, or click the ‘edit’ button on the invoice number data tab and save the order).
    Can you double check that you are using this plugin: WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips? Have you set the ‘Display invoice number’ setting to ‘Invoice number’? If you are using a plugin for custom order numbers and you have set this setting to ‘Order number’, our plugin may not have full control over the invoice number format anymore.

    Hi there, thanks for the prompt reply! Is the 1 license fee an annual fee or a one-time fee?

    Yes, I’m sure I’m using this plugin 🙂 I have checked the mentioned settings and don’t have another active invoicing plugin of any kind. It’s strange indeed. Let me check again to see if I’m not wrong about this matter.

    Let us know what you find regarding that invoice number prefix setting (a simple test would be to create an invoice for an order, save the PDF, change the prefix setting and then click the PDF button again to see if it’s different).
