 * I have a pdf file that I want to put on my website, but I want to collect the
   names and email addresses of people before they download it.
 * Is there a **simple ** plugin that will allow me to do that?

 * We had the same need, so we created a plugin for ourselves called [Email Before Download](http://bit.ly/dF9AxV)
   and made it available for everyone else to download in the [plugin repository](http://bit.ly/dF9AxV).
 * It combines the popular Contact Form 7 and Download Monitor plugins so you can
   create any form you like, collecting whatever information you feel is required.
