Support » Plugin: Very Simple Event List » Doubled widget meta data if single event displayed

  • It is my first time to use this plugin, so I can be mistaken, but I see double metadata of the widget (date, time, location) if the single event is displayed. It is fine in other cases. I can hide doubled metadata of the widget by css, but I consider it as a bug.. thank you for your answer in advance..

    Hi,

I do see it now. But I don’t have this at my own test site, so there must be a conflict somehow. I think the single event page template hooks into the widget. Can you disable support for single event at VSEL plugin settingspage and check if the extra meta section is still being added in the widget?

By the way, the page thats lists all events (the page that contains the shortcode) should not have a slug called “event”, this can cause unexpected behaviour. A slug called “events” (plural) should be fine.
