When I apply the minify option, the site does not load properly, no CSS seems to be used. When I use pingdom to get a breakdown of the page load, I see that it tries to load css and js-files with a weird address, starting:

    http://www.mysite.com/http:/mysite.com/www/wp-content/cache/minify/etc.....

So a double URL….how can I fix this?

I am getting the same thing and I did not update the version. I have no idea what happened. Were you able to resolve? And if so, how?

Which version are you using, Miz.Michele?

    Mike – I am using WordPress 3.8.1, WordPress SEO 1.5.2.5 & W3 Total Cache 0.9.3

I saw the other poster said it was W3TC minify. I’ve been using it for awhile without issue – I cleared the minify cache to see if that changes anything but I do not even know if w3TC is the cause. Is it?

    Here’s an example

    This link
    http://www.lasvegasworldnews.com/ohio-parents-who-raped-their-9-month-old-sentenced/6897/

is shown as a crawl error in google webmaster because it looks like this,

    httpxxx://www.lasvegasworldnews.com/http:/www.lasvegasworldnews.com/ohio-parents-who-raped-their-9-month-old-sentenced/6897/

(I put the 3 xxx so it wouldn’t show up as a link)

It’s putting my website before the link

I have no clue as to why and really need some help as to what causes this, what type of things I need to look for and how to troubleshoot. The only major changes I made was to stop using the sitemap in wordpress SEO because it wasn’t working and I began using the BWP sitemap plugin. I also updated my robot.txt which now looks like this

    # robots.txt
    User-agent: *
    Disallow:
    Disallow: /cgi-bin/
    Disallow: /cdn-cgi/
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Disallow: /wp-includes/
    Disallow: /wp-content/plugins
    Disallow: /wp-content/cache
    Disallow: /wp-content/themes
    Disallow: /wp-includes/js
    Disallow: /trackback
    Disallow: */trackback
    Allow: /wp-content/uploads/2012
    Allow: /wp-content/uploads/2013
    Allow: /wp-content/uploads/2014

    Sitemap: http://www.lasvegasworldnews.com/sitemapindex.xml

    Any help is appreciated.
