Double underlined words in posts that are mouse-over ads (2 posts)

My posts are getting too many words that are orange and double underlined, and when moused over show an ad. They appear whether I publish via IE or Chrome. These "ad words" don't appear in "previews," and I don't see a plug-in that would be doing this. Norton Antivirus, and securi.net's scan found nothing. How can I get rid of these? You should see the words "videos," "Scott" and "Maybelline" highlighted on this page.

Even though your anti-virus didn't hit on it, chances are it's the result of a local PC infection. It sounds like a PUP or BHO that often comes in with other software installations, and then ends up affecting one or more browsers.

Example: (link goes to Google) text enhance unwanted double underlined links

Try the site from a different PC and see if the symptoms change. Are there any tag lines or product id present in the corner of the pop-ups that could help identify it?
