Support » Plugin: WP Recipe Maker » double titles, recipe font

This is actually two questions in one post….

    1. What is the recommendation for how to input recipes so that I don’t get a double title? Or is that what I SHOULD have? So, for example, the post title plus the recipe title are currently both visible. It is redundant. However, I do want to be able to find the recipe in the database.

    2. Is there a way to force the recipe title to use the same font that my theme uses for the post title?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    1. That first title is part of your theme while the second one is part of the recipe box. Most food bloggers have some introductory text and then end the post with the recipe box, so it wouldn’t look strange then.

If you don’t plan on doing that you could technically remove the recipe title block from the recipe template in the Template Editor:

    2. That same Template Editor can be used to change fonts:

Okay, yes, I can see that it makes more sense if there is some information prior to the recipe. I just host my family’s menus and am not trying to be a recipe blog exactly. (and, personally, I just want to get to the recipe and skip all of the stuff at the beginning!)

I will fool around with it and see what works best. If I were printing out the recipe, I would still want the title to show on the printout.

You can use a different template for the print version, so that wouldn’t be an issue!
