# Double recipe post

 * I am brand new to everything. Made my first blog post, and uploaded two distinct
   recipes via recipe maker. When I am in “edit post,” I can see both of my recipes,
   but when I view the site the same recipe is posted twice. I tried deleting and
   reinserting with the same results. Please help!

 * Can you send a screenshot of what that post looks like when you edit it to [support@bootstrapped.ventures](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/double-recipe-post/support@bootstrapped.ventures?output_format=md)
 * Just on a side note: you should avoid adding 2 recipe boxes to a single post 
   as Google won’t really know what recipe to show the metadata for. It’s better
   to have just a single one to target.

 * Ok, I’ll keep that in mind. Is there any way to make meal planning posts that
   include multiple recipes? Hopefully this one can at least be salvaged. I’ll send
   a screenshot now. Thanks!

   that fix has now been included in the latest 4.3.1 version.

 * Hi Brecht, thanks for making this plugin!
 * I am also having this issue with a recipe appearing twice on my blog post. It
   appears where I insert it (in between regular text blocks) but also appears before
   my post content. In the admin I see the recipe block shortcode where it needs
   to be.
 * Installed 4.3.4.

 * Hi Peggy,
 * Did you happen to enable automatic recipe snippets on the WP Recipe Maker > Settings
   > Recipe Snippets page and set that template to a regular recipe template?
 * You want to set that to something like “Snippet Basic Buttons” to have a jump

 * oh my, so basic. Thank you for your quick response and my apologies for causing
   my own problem – that was exactly the fix.
 * Note to the new WPRM users out there… when in doubt, reset to see if it that 
   fixes things – **Settings Tools > Reset to Defaults**.
