I have aother problem: Is it possible to add DOUBLE opt-in? In Europe this is necessary. I tried to adapt your recommendations regarding Re-Authorization Email in Participants Database (https://xnau.com/work/wordpress-plugins/participants-database/gdpr-compliance-and-participants-database/) but without effect.

If you already have a list of people that you want to reauthorize, those instructions are what I recommend you do to obtain consent from people on your list. You don’t mention what the specific problem was, but that is how I recommend you do it with Participants Database.
As to double-opt-in, that is something you would do with new sign-ups. The way you do that with Participants Database is you use the “approved” field as a consent field. How that works is when a person signs up, they are given the private link to their record. When they visit that page, they must check the “approved” field to complete the double opt-in.
