# Double menu bars

 * Hello,
 * I have a major problem with my site [http://www.hovestein.nl](http://www.hovestein.nl)
   
   For some reason I have a double menu bar. I guess this is caused by the fact 
   that I have two home pages. One that I’ve made myself and another one that comes
   standard with the theme I’m using. I cannot delete or edit the standard home 
   page. The theme I’m using is Tuto.
 * Help would be very much appreciated to get rid of this double menu bar! So thanks
   a bunch in advance!

 * thanks for using Tuto WordPress theme.
 * The 2nd red menu in your header is the _Header Navigation_ and it seems you haven’t
   assigned any menu items to that menu. You can create and manage your menus in
   your WordPress dashboard under **Appearance => Menus**. Here you can find more

 * I know that I can use that. But my site isn’t connected to any social media. 
   I also don’t see the use of splitting my menu items in two seperate menu bars.
   That’s why I would gladly delete the upper one.

 * Have a look at the [theme demo](http://www.mhthemes.com/lite/?theme=tuto), there
   you can see why this can be useful.

 * You could hide the upper menu with some CSS:
 * `.mh-header-nav-wrap, .mh-header-nav-mobile { display: none; }`
 * In order to add custom CSS code to your website, you can either make use of a
   [child theme](https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes) or plugins like [Simple Custom CSS](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/).
