Support » Plugin: Enhanced Ecommerce Google Analytics Plugin for WooCommerce » Double gtaj js + ecomm measurement problem

  • Resolved kasperse

I have an issue where there are double implementations of gtag.js where one is for UA and one for GA4. Will this be a problem? These are both set up with the help of your plugin.

Also I can see that transactions are registering when testing but there are no data for “sessions with product views” nor “sessions with add to basket” which obviously is a problem that I need to solve. Also the funnel in the setup/installation guide won’t show any data. Screenshot from GA:

The page is also reloading when clicking add to cart on a product, could this be related to that issue? How do we fix so that the page does not reload when clicking add to cart?

    Thanks for helping,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kasperse,

    Thanks for creating this topic.

We have had a look at the store and observed that there is only single gtag.js implementation via the plugin(which is out of the box). Here is the screenshot for reference and the plugin configuration is completely fine.

Just FYI, the plugin works fine on the store/pages which follow standard WooCommerce implementation.

Further, the reason for no “product_view” and “add_to_cart” tracking seems to be the child or custom theme which do not follow standard WooCommerce implementation. You can refer this FAQ as well.

There can be 2 approaches to fix this:

    (1) Make the product page implementation via the theme according to the standard WooCommerce.

    (2) Custom solution development so that tracking at the existing product page works.

We cannot comment more about the customization here as we are abide by forum policies but if the communication mode would have been different one then we would have easily shared more information.

The page reload is not an issue.

    Hope the above helps.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Tatvic Analytics.
