double emails

Hello. Every time I publish a posh the email subscriptions are sent twice. Also any comments made on my blog come through to me twice. Can anyone tell me how to stop this? Some commenters have complained about this.
It may not be connected by I also have an issue where I keep getting identical spam comments on two separate posts. It’s always two and they are always on different posts.
I use Aksimet.
