    Is it possible to create both a dynamic ‘news’ page and a dynamic ‘events’ page on the same blog, with each page holding (and archiving) its own unique content?

    or in other words, is it possible to have two blogs in one?

    You cannot have two blogs with a single install of WP. It doesn’t have multiblog functionality.

    However, it could be solved by having two different categories…
