    Hi njmube,

Did you write this shortcode yourself, or did you use the shortcode generator? I assume you are trying to translate it into Spanish, and the 3 Spanish translations provided by Facebook are es_ES, es_CO and es_LA. It is displaying as English because es_MX doesn’t actually exist in Facebook’s language options and English is the default.

Also, it is not advisable to include spaces around the =.

    Thanks,
    Cameron

Apologies, having another look at it, it appears that es_MX is supported for general Facebook usage, but not for the Page Plugin. You can see which languages are supported for the page plugin by going to the official page plugin page and clicking the “Get Code” button and browsing the languages from the dropdown box. There are over 130 generally supported but only 95 for the page plugin. This is a problem on Facebook’s end and nothing I can really do to fix it. In the meantime, use one of the other Spanish translations which the plugin supports.

    Thanks,
    Cameron

    Hi njmube,

I have just released version 1.3.4, which changes from using the facebook language file to using a custom one which only includes the correct 95 languages. Thank you for helping me discover this bug with Facebook’s system, hopefully they can sort it out soon so the languages they support is consistent across multiple platforms.

    Thanks,
    Cameron
