    I installed our plugin. When I tested notification(push button Send me
   a test email) all alright. But, when I set up notification on New comment, email
   didn’t receive. How can I verify that email go?

    No problem!
 * Firstly, you need to use the shortcodes shown [here](https://betternotificationsforwp.com/shortcodes/?notification=new-comment)
   to populate the notification.
 * Secondly, you need to then trigger the comment notification. You can do this 
   by adding a new commment to any **post**. You/the post author should then receive
   an email notification. If you’re not, can you install the [Email Log](https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/)
   plugin and re-test. This should tell you if the email is being sent out. If it’s
   being sent out but you’re not receiving it, you may have to run your emails through
   SMTP using something like [Postman SMTP Mailer](https://wordpress.org/plugins/postman-smtp/)
   instead so that you can send email using your WordPress website.

    If I point role “Author”, message to delivered all user 
   whith role “author”

 * Hi Anthony,
    If you tick the checkbox that says: ‘Send this notification to the
   Author only’ then this should be what you’re after for most notification. It 
   will then hide the User / User Roles input. This is not available at present 
   for New Comments / New Trackbacks / New Pingbacks. I can’t remember the reason
   why but for now, the only option the plugin has is to send it to a User Role,
   for example, a role that deals specifically with Comment Notifications.
