You are correct. I’ll be adding some info before step one in the instructions to clarify this.
It’s easiest if you create one page for each step in your multi-form process first. That way you will know all the urls when creating each form.
Thanks webheadllc.
That leads to the next question:
How do you handle the MAIL tab for each form – specifically, the Message Body? Do I set up each individual form as always (5 in my case), leaving the MAIL tab results the way they are automatically generated (from the FORM side), assuming that the plugin cobbles those all together? Or collect them all on the last form? Or…. ??
Only the last form will send mail. Fill out the Message Body on the last form the same way you would normally fill out the message body. Fields from all the previous forms will be available.
Well, that’s not entirely correct in how you’ve worded it.
On each form, when you switch to the mail tab you find near the top “In the following fields, you can use these mail-tags:” – and then it lists the tags used on the Form tab of ONLY that form. The forms are not aware of each other. You have to copy and paste all the mail-tags from the previous forms, right? That’s not covered when you said above : “Fill out the Message Body on the last form the same way you would normally…”.
People need to know there’s some manual carry-over needed. And about how to go about generating the needed next-form link. I know many people have likely figured this out already… but such a time-saver to explain it. Thanks for a great plugin!
