Don't understand how continue with subdomain

    Hi all,
    I followed this tutorial http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network to set up the Multisite into my WordPress e.g. http://www.pippo.com
    I installed the network (subdomains). I enabled the network with the creation of blogs.dir, and modification of htaccess and wp-config. I created a new site into the dashboard that connect to my subdomain pluto.pippo.com. No error reported…

    but now????? I clicked on my site -> insert new post and it redirect me to pluto.pippo.com/wp-admin/post-new.php but it give me the Request URL Not Found Error, same as for view site and dashbord.

    Why this??? Have i forget anything??? I have to install or copy wordpress file into the subdomain ftp???

    Your requested host “pluto.pippo.com” could not be resolved by DNS.

    Does your domain have wildcard DNS set up? Remember what we said in http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network#Domain-based

    Hi, tnx for your reply!!!

    pluto.pippo.com is only an example, it doesn’t exist 😀

    I read your link, and I inserted a CNAME record into my Plesk, from subdomain (example pluto.pippo.com) to root domain (example pippo.com).

    Now i will wait until the DNS are updated, and I hope all is resolved!!
