  • People tend to oppose changes.
Any change, always, that’s what people are.

Don’t tell me the Earth is round, it was flat for thousands of years,
let’s keep it flat for a while more.

WordPress’ weak point was his editor, always.
As a full time developer, I have problems with my clients explaining them how to enter their content on their websites.
I always wanted this part to improve.

And yes, I’ve seen others like Wix, Weebly, SquareSpace and Jimbdo and how they are doing it.
I also saw what Visual Builder and Divi are trying to achieve.

Gutenberg is what we need and I support it.

Even though it’s not completely polished, this is a necessary first step.
Even though you might keep it as a plugin for another year, I say go for it – put it in the core and things will advance faster, because everyone will be forced to follow.

I’m looking forward to each new version of WP, more than I was till Gutenberg.

Thank you Team Gutenberg – keep up the good work!

@andrija thank you for what you have said, it’s a very true observation, change is hard. It’s great you see the potential in the project. Thank you for your review as it really matters getting reviews for Gutenberg. The product is still being worked on.

    @superkot

I’m sorry if I gave you the impression that I’m about to say something original and new.
My intention was only to provide more details about my opinion on the matter.

I understand the pros and cons of both sides and I believe I’m entitled to have my own opinion and my own decision which side will I take.

    I take the pro Gutenberg.

There will be difficulties, I’m sure.
But the direction where all this is going is something I approve and was hoping for for years.

I’ve read somewhere that the Gutenberg Team and Matt would like to hear opinion from 100k reviewers.
I just wanted to contribute mine and not to persuade anyone or argue about it.
