Support » Plugin: Gutenberg » Gutenberg is easy to learn and my experience was fantastic

  • I wouldn’t believe these bad reviews that don’t even mention a real THING the person did not like. There is a little Gang Theory going on here where people jumped on that hater bandwagon and became vocal about it. Gutenberg was much easier for me to learn without needing to watch videos or read instructions. This Elementor hype is unfounded as far as I’m concerned. I paid for that plugin about a month ago and then got my money back because some things showed up in one browser… not in another browser… and some pages are just screwed up when I look in the browser, but look great in Elementor. I never had that problem w Gutenburg. I don’t like voodoo magic when it comes to what’s going on under the hood in web pages like both of these editors force you to accept, but this is a new way of editing a page and it’s going to be unpopular at first. Elementor’s style of editing wouldn’t have caught on were it not for Gutenberg getting people used to editing web pages in some way other than sitting down and typing the web content, just like I’m doing here. But now that people have gone down that road we will have to wait until they come back to bounce these ratings back up again.

From what I read, the comparison is with how difficult other editors have been and in particular Elementor, that; Gutenberg was easier to understand and Gutenberg provided cross browser support.
