Support » Plugin: SendPress Newsletters » Don't re-activate an email after import

  • Dear,
I usually import my contacts every month since I’ve many differenct sources and collaborators so the same mail is imported many times and I’ve found that if an email is unsubscribed – or it has another status – it comes active again…
    How can I avoid this?

    Thank you!

We are planning to improve the export functionality so that it maintains subscriber status. Until we release that enhancement, I’m afraid there’s not too much you can do with your workflow if you are importing to new lists.

If you import to the same list though we don’t overwrite the status and we match any existing subscriber instead of creating duplicates.

    Thank you,
But when I import a existing contact in the same list the record remain unique but the status change to “active”…

Thanks for the update. I will take another look at the import. Are you importing to the same list every time?

yes! I can make other tests for you if you need.
