Support » Plugin: Metaphor Shortcodes » Don't output default button

  • Hello,

This is not really a but, just a suggestion.

I have a special modal button that pops up when I click the button. So I cloned over the CSS from

.mtphr-pricing-table-button and made my own, then did display:none on the original button.

I recommend for a future update, of the button=”” is not in the shortcode to not display the default one “Sign Up” just in case people want to write their own button style and execute code in the background.

If the button didn’t display the default when I took it out the shortcode, there would be no need to clone the classes, I could still just use “.mtphr-pricing-table-button” like normal. Without having to write more css/code.

    Thank you! And wonderful shortcodes.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will make a note of this.

I am making an update right now to account for this. I couldn’t just modify an empty string being passed to hide the button, as this would effect many users who are using the button with the default text (an empty string works the same as not using the attribute). So, now if you pass “null” as the button value, the button will not render on the screen.

    Update should be available soon.

    Good work around.

    Thanks for the update!
