Don’t know is it working

    WPEngine hosting. Installed plugin 12hours ago. Purged all caches. /uploads-webpc/ contains all images. How can i test functionallity (does it load webp at all) also google page speed still reports (suggest) using modern formats .webp images.

    I went through faq. So here are few things.

    1.WPEngine server.

    2.Caching DISABLED – Cannot enable caching: WordPress object/transient caching requires that WP_CACHEbe defined as TRUE inside wp-config.php. Currently that define is either missing or set to FALSE.

    3.CDN NOT CONFIGURED – Right now no domains are configured for use with a CDN. If you’re ready to enable CDN support, visit the user portal at https://my.wpengine.com/installs/arogerson/cdn for more information.

    4.I do have multisite. That was the step i missed. I added code to .htaccess

    5. Is it going to be a problem if i use Autoptimize, Ithemes security ?

    unfortunately no, i don’t have the option to remove ithemes and other stuff from .htaccess

    1. Is there any other option?
    2. If i decide to remove plugin, i should simply deactive it, remove code from .htaccess and remove /uploads-webpc/ ?

    1. It looks like other rules are causing some problems. Do you have the option to disable other plugins for testing? E.g. iThemes Security.

    Additional this line:
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $2 [L]

    It seems to me suspicious, which may cause problems with the plugin.

    2. If you uninstall the plugin, it will remove all converted files and code from the .htaccess file. You don’t have to worry about that 🙂

    I decided to uninstall plugin. There’s too much other plugins (it’s not my site). Thanks for help and great job for plugin. For sure going to test it on other websites.
