# Don't Do It!!!

 * As of this writing – 12-29-2013 with the latest version (the third version with
   same failures I am reporting here) Version 2.0.6
 * This plugin cannot update itself and when you make the mistake of letting it 
   try from your WP Admin plugins panel, it will fail and your entire shopping cart
   is wrecked.
 * Unless you have hours and hours to spend trying to put your eCommerce site back
   to where it was before any of the WP EasyCart plugins updates fail (there are
   multiple plugin components), stay away from WP EasyCart for your eCommerce website.
 * Most well-written WordPress plugins can update themselves without any consequences,
   not to mention such serious ones as this plugin causes.

 * I can’t imagine this happened, but I would love to help solve the situation….
   have you tried to talk to our support team about it?
 * When wordpress updates any plugin, it simply deletes it and rewrites the entire
   contents of a plugin. We have mechanisms to save data and other plugin folders
   just to insure this…
 * We tend to have really good support, so I would encourage anyone to get a hold
   of our support team through ticket access on our website.

 * Well, I have to reverse my original post, thanks to you! I did submit a ticket
   to support and received excellent support and the product is working as it should
   now!
 * I cannot find a way to change my ranking, but if I could I would change it to
   a full five stars now!
 * Whoever reads this post because of the one star vote – I am changing my vote 
   to 5 stars!
