Support » Plugin: Events Manager » Don’t count on support

  • The plugin itself does a fair job of displaying events, although it uses tables and requires quite a bit of manual coding to customize the layouts and styling. As others have recently mentioned in reviews, support from the developers leaves a lot to be desired. Half a dozen of us complained about the maps not working and the devs never addressed the issue, repeating the same instructions and apparently not bothering to read even the original post.

The plugin hasn’t been updated in a few months, either, which is odd given the activity in the support forum and the fairly large install base. I’m moving on to something different.

Hi, I’m sorry for the troubles with Maps. I’ve replied to your thread.

Unfortunately, Google Maps requiring an API key makes setup harder and easy to make mistakes. We provide free support in our forums, but due to the volumes of support requests we get, and the fact that we commit to our Pro customers a certain level of support, sometimes things slip through.

I hope you’ll give EM another try and I’m sure this issue can get fixed so you make the best of your previous customizations.
