Don’t buy the premium version until you’ve tested
-
Ok, first if you’re new to Instant Articles, know that most of the magic happens via the Facebook backend manager, not via a plugin. This thing just parses code.
Made the HUGE mistake of buying the premium version based on the outstanding reviews. Huge mistake. Could not get the plugin to verify with Facebook, even though I’m a FB developer. Suffice to say, it’s not the developer’s fault this doesn’t work. The problem is with Facebook Apps and now is not the time with FB cracking down on web apps and requiring code reviews. Rubbish.
The author SHOULD put a very BIG and OBVIOUS disclaimer on his website that states clearly: “THIS PLUGIN MAY NOT WORK WITH DUE TO FACEBOOK’S BACKEND ISSUES RELATED TO THE CURRENT SECURITY SCANDAL and/or APP REVIEW PROCESS”
Of course, you will find that notation buried deep in the plugin’s documentation. Zero respect.
