@benlunt We see that HTTP verification file is in place. Please try running the SSL install form once again and if you face same error again, We recommend completing domain verification using DNS method.
If you proceed with DNS based verification, please note that DNS changes will take few minutes to propagate and thus you will have to wait few minutes before proceeding with “Verify DNS” button.
Thanks for your response that is much appreciated.
I have made the change on the dns but this still isnt verifying the domain. I am getting the errors below
Domain Verification Failure:
We tried automating domain verification via HTTP method by adding below files but your hosting server returns invalid, empty, noscript or 404 response when accessed as bot. You could try making the below files publicly accessible to complete domain verification via HTTP method.
I get this error to
Could not verify DNS records. Please check whether you have added above DNS records perfectly or try again after 5 minutes if you added DNS records just now.
Feel free to open support ticket at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-letsencrypt-ssl/#new-topic-0 for any help.
Thanks
Ben
@benlunt Checking your site on dnschecker[dot]org We don’t see any TXT records added related to _acme-challenge
Please make sure the TXT records provided by plugin are added correctly and DNS verification should succeed.
