 * I am a WordPress developer and I have a client with an existing site created 
   with Dreamweaver. I want to recreate the whole site using WordPress. How would
   I go about doing this? Would I go into hosting and point the domain towards WordPress?

 * No, since your hosting is Godaddy you need to point the domain to Godaddy name
   server. Contact Godday support for your name server.
