# Domain transfer??

 * If i purchase a parked domain from one provider and then i host with another 
   provider, do i have to do a domain transfer? I notice that i cannot get my site
   to work and this may be the problem.

 * You mean, forwarding a domain?

 * Host what (website?) with another what provider (a web hosting company?)
 * If you buy a domain somewhere else, you need to forwarding it to your hosting
   company’s nameservers (if that’s what you are asking).

 * Assume you have a domain registered with Godaddy (domain registrar) and you have
   purchased hosting at Dreamhost (hosting company) for that domain.
 * At Godaddy, just set your domain’s name servers to the DreamHost name servers.
   If you don’t know your hosting company’s name servers, then ask them.
