Can anyone suggest a good article or tutorial on how to edit settings at a domain registrar to point a domain to a network site in a multisite environment? Let’s say I created a network site called site1.domain.com and I own a top level domain 123company.com. What do I have to do at my registrar to get my top level domain pointed to my site1.domain.com network site?

Two options (which are exactly the same for network sites as it is for single sites):

    1. Change the nameserver records for teh domain to point all DNS management to the hosting server.
    2. Change the A record for the domain, and any other sub-domains that might be required, to point to the hosting servers IP address.

I just did this last night and I can attest to this being the same process as with a single site. The differences came when I was migrating to my new host. But DNS configuration was the easy part.
