# Domain redirection within a multisite setup

 * Hi evryone,
 * I wonder if someone could shed some light here.
 * I am having issues trying to redirect a domain.com to a subdomain 55.domain.com(
   subdomain created within a multisite wordpress but keep the same domain.com url.
 * Is this possible? multisite are such a pain!

 * Hi, I am waiting for help with another tech question about multisite myself so
   I thought I’d respond to your question.
 * I use multisite, love it, but I don’t use the subdomain technique. I tried, but
   could not do it and then I realized there was no reason to struggle with subdomain
   multisite. I switched to the directory technique and it is really easy to do 
   everything.
 * I don’t know if you need to use subdomains for some reason, but I thought I’d
   mention it.
 * I also purchased this book from half-elf, a wordpress forum moderator and a bit
   of an expert on multisite. It is only $9.99 for the ebook.
