# Domain redirected to .com/install.php after database error

 * **why does wordpress redirect domain to wp-admin/install.php**
 * So while working on my website justwicca.com, I went to post a 700 word article.
 * I got the dreaded database error. Site wouldn’t load, googled it someone said
   to redo my wp-config and I did. THEN its was pointing me to the famous five minute
   install.
 * Googled some more and found out my best bet would be to delete the install.php
   and make sure the database prefix was correct.
 * I did that LUCKILY There’s my blog! pages and all in tact!
 * Only issue is that now justwicca.com’s main page doesn’t show my blog posts and
   instead redirects to a 404. It redirects to [http://justwicca.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://justwicca.com/wp-admin/install.php).
   Just Wicca is just a blog, not in a sub folder. So if i can get rid of the redirect
   to install.php I am sure my blog posts will be there.
 * I think one of my seo plugins isn’t compatible to 3.3 I have disabled them ALL
   for the time being. Luckily I can log in now and still have my posts. but would
   love to get this fixed!
