Domain pointing

    Let’s say I have a primary domain http://www.example.com and WordPress is installed in it’s own folder http://www.example.com/wordpress. I understand how to set the site URL so that the wordpress folder would not be in the URL, but in terms of pointing a secondary domain to the the wordpress installation, would it automatically point to the wordpress folder, or would that need to be configured by the secondary domain’s DNS?
