    WP Version 5.2.1
    Plugin Version 2.2.7

Been using for a while and definitely one of the best plugins around.

This was the first time attempting to use on a multisite setup, so I thought it was apart of that for a while but finally figured out it was the bucket name.

Following instructions I created a bucket with periods, matching the domain identically — cdn.example.com.

To support HTTPS, I’ve set up a GCS load balancer – it allows to select any bucket now.

I ended up renaming my bucket com-example-cdn with dashes, pointing the LB at it, and setting WP-Stateless to use that bucket but configured with https://cdn.example.com.

In short, I believe there’s a compatibility issue somewhere using buckets containing periods, possibly escaping. No logs, no notifications from what I could find. When looking at uploaded items, the Google Cloud Storage box on the right is empty.

I’m working and good to move on – Figured I’d report what I’ve found.

  • Please make sure you have this correct.

com-example-cdn in Bucket field on Google Cloud Storage (GCS) section.

cdn.example.com in Domain on File URL section.

Yup, that’s what I ended up with and works.

Instructions under the Domain on File URL section:

Be advised that the bucket name and domain name must match exactly, and HTTPS is not supported with a custom domain out of the box.

Because of this, I started with my Bucket named as cdn.example.com, which didn’t seem to function.

Mostly posted this thread to let you and others know.
