• Hi,

I sincerely hope that someone with more wordpress and website development experience can help me with this. The following site is the one that I’m working on:

    http://www.mphcc.com

I initially created the site on another domain, but later had it moved through our host, godaddy. However, tis unfortunately snapped all of the permalinks so I had to manually re-enter everything. Recently, our company decided that yet again, they’d like to move the domain name so it is “mphcc.com” instead of “millenniumphysicians.com” I was able to redirect the site through the settings on WP and through changing the primary on Godaddy. However, after spending well over 30 mins with Godaddy on the phone, the best they could offer was to list my problem here. By the way, my theme is “Poloray.”

When I access the site “mphcc.com,” there is an error loading all of the images, but if you access an image in another tab, the server error that appears has “millenniumphysicians” in the URL bar. Is there something that I need to change with my theme or is there another change that I need to yet make so my permalinks are fully functioning and the images appear.

I have my site in maintenance mode right now, so if you need anything, please let me know and I’m happy to help!!

  • Have you reviewed Moving_WordPress?

Hi mrr012 try going into phpadmin and searching the site name.. then alter in the database the name you want to use.. You can change it there just the same as changing it in the database dashboard.. Just amend the url and the folder.. should be 2 occurences of the name in database..

If you get in dashboard try resetting your permalinks change to like date links and back to what you used before, this usually fixes basic errors, so does repairing your tables in phpadmin..

That will not be sufficient. The site urls is stored in multiple places in the database – including within serialized arrays.
