• I run a small fulfilment business that sells multiple clients merchandise. Because of the different clients, I have set up a multi-site wordpress using subdomains. Usually this is fine however one of our clients wants to use their own domain.

They bought the domain (via 1&1) and have given me access to it. I’ve gone through all the set up however the domain seems to be redirecting. I believe I have set up the domain as parked and our my DNS settings for our server. And I have set up the Domain Mapper plugin, network activated it but instead of client.co.uk it forwards and displayed our subdomain client.mysite.com.

    Domain Options are set to:
    OFF – Remote Login
ON – Permanent redirect (better for your blogger’s pagerank)
ON – User domain mapping page
ON – Redirect administration pages to site’s original domain (remote login disabled if this redirect is disabled)
OFF – Disable primary domain check. Sites will not redirect to one domain name. May cause duplicate content issues.

Any help would be greatly received.

Since yours is a new install, you can domain map without the plugin per https://wordpress.org/support/topic/howto-domain-mapping-without-a-plugin-instructions/.

To switch, uninstall the DM plugin.

The parking sounds correct, but based on the rest of your description you should not have any DNS for it on your server.

For the parking to take effect your web server needs to be restarted. Normally the web account control panel does the restart. But sometimes the restart doesn’t happen. Check to see if there is some way in your control panel to reload the web server configuration.
