    Hi,
    I am in a big trouble. I am using Salient theme, previous days my domain has been suspended due to excessive CPU usage. I am trying to contact my web developer but unable. I got this message from domain provider
    The following script/page was using excessive CPU:
    ==============================================================
    Time: Fri Sep 26 08:12:22 2014 -0500
    Account: therecip
    Resource: Virtual Memory Size
    Exceeded: 237 > 200 (MB)
    Executable: /usr/bin/php
    Command Line: /usr/bin/php /home/therecip/public_html/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    PID: 11966 (Parent PID:11670)

    Kindly guide me how I can fix this issue.

    First, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider to lift the suspension, and they may have some extra helpful details for you.

    If they don’t have any additional details, the error you quoted states that you’re exceeding your memory allocation, not CPU.

    Once they have lifted the suspension and you have access to your Dashboard again, you’ll need to some troubleshooting to find the source of the memory drain.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Also, if you’re in the habit of uploading very large images, like files directly from your camera or some such, know that these take a lot of memory to process. If you reduce the size of the images before uploading them, then that memory is not required.

    Your hosting provider might be able to provide you with a way to monitor memory usage. I’d start with that.

    If they don’t, then only run what you feel are your essential plugins for a day or two to see if they suspend you again for the same reason. If they don’t, slowly introduce the other plugins one by one until either they’re all enabled with no problem or they suspend you again. 🙂
