Support » Fixing WordPress » domain alias

  • Hi Folks,

Is it possible to have WP installed on a domain, say example.com, and in cPanel > Aliases, add a subdomain as an alias, e.g. sub.example.com, so that both:’

    1. example.com
    2. sub.example.com

are separate URLs that load the same content?

I tried this but sub.example.com redirected to example.com.

    Help appreciated.
    Steve

  • Not with a standard WordPress site. There may be some plugins out there that can do this for you, but overall it’s not something that I’d recommend mpurely from an SEO perspective.
