Hello @charlielamb
At first, setup permalinks for your marketplace. I hope this issue will be resolved.
Best Regards,
Hey I’ve had my permalinks setup since I started the store, I don’t see how this is relevant to the problem? I’ve tried to change them and it hasn’t effected anything.
Thanks,
Charlie
Hi @charlielamb
It seems like the issue you’re experiencing could be related to the permalink structure. Dokan’s script file can only be loaded if the permalink structure is set to post name. To resolve the issue, I recommend following the steps mentioned in the documentation provided at this link – https://wedevs.com/docs/dokan/common-questions/fix-404-error-in-product-edit-page/.
If your permalink structure is already set to post name, I suggest changing it to another structure and saving the changes. After that, choose the post name again and save the settings. This may help resolve the issue.
If you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thanks!
Hey thanks for the reply, I’ve done what you’ve said however I’m still getting an error. The permalinks make a difference: when it’s not set to post name I get an additional error message from GoDaddy attached here: https://ibb.co/gdbLxzM . I’m still getting the error though after swapping to and from post name. Is there any more help you could give? Thanks.
Hi @charlielamb
Thank you for providing information that you are using GoDaddy as your hosting service. Based on our experience, we have seen instances where GoDaddy blocks rendering the Dokan script file for security reasons. We suggest that you contact GoDaddy support and explain the issue you are experiencing.
Hope this help. If you need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thanks!
Thank you, GoDaddy fixed this for me!
