# doesnt work with wordpress 3.6.1

 * Looks like it doesnt work with latest version of WP. I get page not found error
   when clicked on the download link. It does not update the hits in the database
   no matter how many times the linked is clicked.
 * I set download method to be Output File.
    Just for my clarification: how much
   max file size does it accept? I have pdf file of 1.2MB size.
 * Also I have custom user Groups and roles, When setting “Allowed download to”,
   I cant see those user groups or roles

 * 1. It works, I have it running on 3.6.1 on my live site [http://lesterchan.net/site/downloads/](http://lesterchan.net/site/downloads/).
   They are many factors why it doesn’t work for you. Try redirect to file also 
   make sure you are not using any caching plugin
 * 2, It depends on your server, check your PHP settings/your host
    3. It does not
   support custom user groups and roles.
