When you select an image to open your carousel, the X to close the carousel was in the correct spot. However, the pictures are off to the left and they have a gray transparent layer over them. They look pretty bad. Also the active pic seems to be covered behind another pic. Open any gallery using this plugin or jetpack in IE to see the issue.

The jetpack carousel has this same issue. does anyone have a fix for this problem?

  • Yes, IE 7 and 8 are broken.

IE9 is ok, though the slider is not active, it just changes from image to image.

I noticed that the most recent version of jetpack works in IE7 & 8 (previous versions also had problems). Since this is based off the jetpack code the next release you do may fix the problem automatically.

Hey, that’s good news… would be great to have an ETA on this.

The ETA is entirely based on JetPack’s release schedule (which is unknown to me). Whenever Jetpack updates, then I will update this as soon as possible.

An update to make it work at least in IE8 would be really great!

The new version should fix IE8 issues.
